We are now operating under COVID level 2 guidelines and can open our store back up to customers. We have lines marking spacing at our tills. We are operating our normal hours. We can’t wait to welcome you back in-store and hopefully Auckland customers soon as well.
As of Wednesday the 1st of September, when most our country shifts into Level 3, Chef’s Complements will be able to provide additional services to our lovely customers. During level 4 we were granted permission to continue on with our online orders. Our storefront was also inevitably closed. As we move into level 3 we will now be able to provide a Click & Collect service for our locals.
How to use Click & Collect:
Place your order via our website (best option), and in the cart, click ‘calculate shipping’. Select Waikato, Taupo, and make sure you input ‘3330’ in the postcode and this will give the option for local pickup.
Once your order has been placed and is ready to be collected, we will give you a call and let you know how to pick it up.

Our free shipping is only $100 and our reduced fee of just $4 for local delivery of any items under $100 is still ongoing from our last lockdown.
We can’t wait till we can welcome you back into our store but for now, keep safe, keep happy and keep on cooking!
Just like the first nationwide Level 4 lockdown, Chef’s Complements will continue to operate online.
While our physical store will obviously be closed, we will still be operating the online sector of our business as per usual.
Being a family-run business, we are able to safely self-isolate together at home, travel to work and be in complete isolation there also. The rest of our team are isolating at home. We have non-contact procedures in place with our couriers. We use Aramex formerly Fastways who are an essential service during this lockdown period.
