Borgo de' Medici

Rooted in centuries of Tuscan tradition, Borgo de’ Medici takes its name from the historic Medici family who ruled Florence from 1433 to 1756 and helped shape the Italian Renaissance through their patronage of the arts, culture, and cuisine. Inspired by this heritage, founder Massimo Pugi and Creative Director Lisa Pugi established Borgo de’ Medici Delizie Toscane in 1999 in Prato, Tuscany, working alongside the region’s finest artisans, farmers, and beekeepers.

Their vision was to create a “village” of authentic specialty foods from oven baked biscotti and estate pressed extra virgin olive oil to copper pot fruit preserves each crafted in areas renowned for their expertise. Today, Borgo de’ Medici’s award winning range is enjoyed in over 30 countries, with every product sourced from trusted farms and workshops in Tuscany.
