Khen began with a simple frustration. Daniel loved mixing cocktails and hosting friends, but the glassware he owned felt thin, fragile and uninspiring. It broke easily and never matched the care he put into serving drinks. He wanted glassware that felt special, durable and worthy of the moments he shared with the people he loved.

While studying chemistry at university, Daniel discovered the science behind glassmaking. He learned how materials like borosilicate and crystal could improve strength and clarity. Using both technical skill and creativity, he began designing his own glassware. His early designs combined beauty with durability, and the response from friends and family encouraged him to take the next step.

Daniel founded Khen to make well-designed glassware that lasts, without pushing prices out of reach. As the brand expanded into other homeware, the mission stayed clear. Khen creates products that help people build homes that feel personal, expressive and welcoming.

Khen glassware draws inspiration from the colour and movement found in Italian and French impressionist art, alongside the bold lines of Eastern European architecture.
