After intensive research and countless tests on knives made of steels of all degrees of hardness, we found that a unique mirror-like sharpness can be achieved with a wide range of knives. Whether with the classic steels of European kitchen knives or high-quality Damascus and carbon steels, with the HORL ® Kagami, you can take all of your knives to a whole new level of sharpness.

STEP BY STEP TO MIRROR-LIKE SHARPNESS

Make sure that the blade is also free of any burr. Fully use all of the HORL ® Premium Set. Further sharpen your blade for at least 5 minutes on each side until mirror-sharp. It is important to always clean the blade and the whetstone between sides so that no abrasive particles can scratch the mirrored edge. As a final fine smoothing, slightly moisten the HORL ® Kagami and use it for a further minute on each side.
