La Cafetière coffee plungers are easy to clean and have reusable stainless steel filters, eliminating the need for filter papers whilst trapping even the smallest coffee granules.

Do not expose this item to a direct heat source

CLEANING:

Pour any surplus coffee away, remove the lid, and filter.
Dispose of the used coffee grinds. To remove the La Cafetière glass jug, hold the handle of the stand and gently push it upwards from the base, sliding it out.
Take care not to force the jug, as extreme pressure could cause it to break. If the glass is too tight to remove, please adjust the screw at the top of the handle slightly, which should loosen the glass enough to remove.
Always remember to retighten the screw when the glass is replaced. The glass jug is dishwasher-safe.
To clean the lid and filter, unscrew the plunger by twisting the arm anti-clockwise. The filter will unscrew. Separate the filter components, wash in hot, soapy water, and rinse thoroughly.
Handwash the lid in hot, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
Ensure all parts are completely dry before re-assembling and storing to prevent corrosion.
