This little blackbird pie funnels job is to allow the steam to escape preventing the crust cracking and the filling from escaping.
Instructions:
1. Place the pie bird in the middle of the pie shell before filling.
2. Fill pie around the pie bird. Drape the crust over the top of the beak, pushing down gently to allow the beak to breakthrough.
3. Bake as per the recipe instructions.
