This tradition dates back to the beginning of the 18th century and has influenced the global glass industry over time. Bohemia proudly states that its crystal glass is among the best to have emerged in the sector. The glassworks in Poděbrady is the major manufacturer of lead crystal in the Czech Republic.
Amoroso is a classic and beautiful example of a white wine glass. The cup is shaped like a tulip (closes upwards) to retain the wine’s aroma. It has wonderful, clean lines and thin, smooth walls that divinely ring during a toast. The glass provides the ideal environment for developing aroma and flavour. Cups without stems are both modern and practical.
