This tradition dates back to the beginning of the 18th century and it has influenced the entire glass industry of the world over the course of time. The glassworks in Poděbrady is the major manufacturer of lead crystal in the Czech Republic.
Cup Amoroso is a classic and beautiful example of a red wine glass. Due to its volume, it is also suitable for some white wines. The cup is shaped into a tulip (closes upwards) to maintain the aroma of the wine. It has wonderful clean lines and thin smooth walls that divinely ring during a toast. The glass provides the ideal space to develop aroma and flavour. Cups without stems are both modern and practical at the same time.
