A Santoku knife of refined precision.
Every slice matters in the kitchen, and this knife delivers. The Messermeister Oliva Elite Santoku Knife 18 cm excels at chopping, slicing, and dicing. Also, its lightweight, ergonomic design lets you work longer with less strain, giving you precise control for daily prep. Small enough to handle easily yet large enough for versatile tasks, it brings efficiency and balance to every cut.
Because quality craftsmanship counts, artisans forge each blade by hand. They hot drop forge it from a single billet of premium German stainless steel. Next, they hand-finish it in Solingen using techniques refined over generations. As a result, the 15-degree Elite edge stays sharp, and the flat grind blade ensures smooth, controlled slicing.
In addition, the olive wood handle combines beauty and comfort. The Mediterranean olive wood is sculpted for a secure grip and warm feel. Because it is naturally antibacterial, it remains safe and durable through daily use. Every knife is unique, blending heirloom-quality craftsmanship with lasting performance for home or professional cooks.

Use & Care:
Proper care will preserve the performance and beauty of your Oliva Elite knife for years to come.
- Hand wash only using warm water and a mild detergent
- Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately after washing
- Clean the blade promptly after cutting acidic or salty foods such as tomatoes, citrus, or vinegar-based ingredients
- Never place in the dishwasher, as heat and detergents will damage both blade and handle
- Apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or wood cream to the olive wood handle every few weeks
- Store in a blade guard, knife block, or on a magnetic rack to protect the edge
With regular care, the blade will maintain its sharpness and the olive wood handle will develop a rich, natural patina over time.
