Zero Japan Teapots have been cherished by tea drinkers all over the world for more than 20 years. Its classic elegance has remained the same since the day they were initially designed in 1988.
Each Zero Japan teapot is lovingly designed and handcrafted by artisans situated in Gifu Prefecture, a region in Japan renowned for its high-quality ceramics. Carefully perfected by the hands of Mino craftsmen, who were one of the first ceramists to seamlessly combine ceramics, steel, and silicone together to create timeless tableware with a modern twist. From initial moulding to final glazing and fit & finish of lids to pots, a long history of attention to detail is evident.
Zero Japan’s teapots have a fresh, modern design without frills, all the elements are proportionally right. The round shapes soften the clear-cut lines. The eye is automatically attracted by the harmony of the teapot.
