Before First Use:
- Remove all packaging and labels before using your stoneware.
- Wash your new piece in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
General Use:
- Le Creuset stoneware is safe for use in the oven, microwave, fridge, and freezer.
- Always use oven gloves when handling hot stoneware.
- Do not place stoneware on direct heat or under a direct flame.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving a hot dish straight into cold water.
Cleaning:
- Allow your stoneware to cool before cleaning.
- Wipe away food residue from the base and sides.
- For stubborn residues, soak in warm, soapy water for 15–20 minutes, then wash as usual.
- Wash by hand with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly, or place in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
Tips for Long-Lasting Use:
- Use wooden, silicone, or heat-resistant plastic utensils to protect the glaze.
- Avoid using knives or sharp objects directly on the surface.
