Regular use of the honing steel realigns the edge of your knives, compensating for the gradual dulling that occurs from everyday use. Run each side of the knife along the steel a few times to maintain optimal sharpness. For particularly blunt knives, we recommend using a Diamond Steel or Ceramic Steel to restore the edge. A simple and essential tool, it helps your knives perform at their best for years to come.
Note: You should always use a honing steel that is longer than your largest knife.
