The classic ‘please a crowd in a hurry’ dessert that can be modified to your taste!

Method

  1. Place milk, chocolates, espresso powder, and salt (if using) into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 3 1/2 minutes, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades. When finished, pour into a fondue pot and keep warm.

Nutrition Note:

This recipe brings all the luscious decadence of fondue, but with fewer calories and less saturated fat than the traditional version (substituting almond milk for heavy cream). This dessert can be enjoyed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

Chef Notes:

Experiment with different milks, chocolates, and additives! Use any kind of chocolate you like (even white) to make variations of this recipe. Peanuts, fruit or fruit preserves, caramel, or spices are all fun options for flavor enhancers. For dippers: Try sliced apples, pears, berries, bananas, grapes, marshmallows, pound cake, or graham crackers.
