Get ready to reign over your salad game with our Classic Caesar Salad, featuring the royal touch of King Caesar dressing! Crisp romaine lettuce is generously drizzled with Pepper & Me’s rich, creamy dressing, made with roasted garlic aioli, salty anchovies, and a sprinkle of Parmesan for a flavour that’s simply regal.
Method:
- Chunkily dice the sourdough, toss it with a little olive oil and Man Grind, then pop it in the air fryer for ten minutes to make super crispy croutons.
- Prepare all the salad ingredients.
- Wash the cos lettuce and cut it into 5 cm slices, or alternatively, use 2 bags of chopped cos.
- Thinly slice the cooked chicken breast.
- Take the sliced chicken and toss it through the dressing.
- To assemble the salad, take a large platter and arrange half of the cos in an even layer.
- Build the salad by adding half of the chicken evenly across the lettuce.
- Top with half of the remaining toppings and a layer of Parmesan.
- Add the next layer of cos and repeat with the remaining chicken, bacon, Parmesan, and croutons.
- Garnish with a final layer of Parmesan (a Microplane is perfect for coating the whole salad with Parmesan)
- Then, top with the chopped bacon and finish with a drizzle of dressing.
