Before First Use:

  • Remove all labels and packaging before washing
  • Wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly
  • Condition the interior non-stick surface by rubbing with vegetable or corn oil using a paper towel
  • Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly after conditioning
  • For initial frying, add enough vegetable or corn oil to cover the base
  • Heat oil gently while rotating to coat the inner side walls
  • Remove from heat, allow to cool, and wipe clean with paper towels

Cooking:

  • Always use oven gloves when handling hot cookware
  • Use Le Creuset Silicone Tools, wooden utensils, or heat-resistant plastic tools
  • Metal utensils may be used with care—avoid harsh scraping or impact on rims
  • Do not use handheld electric or battery-operated beaters, blenders, knives, or sharp tools on non-stick surfaces
  • Select the correct hob ring size to ensure even cooking and protect handles and sides
  • On induction hobs, incorrect ring size may cause recognition issues
  • Medium or low heat is recommended for best results, even when frying or searing
  • Allow cookware to heat gradually before adding food
  • For fat-free cooking, preheat on medium heat for approximately 2 minutes before adding food
  • Never leave cookware unattended or allow dry non-stick surfaces to overheat
  • Avoid using the ‘boost’ function on induction hobs, except for boiling large volumes of water
  • Do not pour salt directly onto stainless steel surfaces—add to hot cooking liquid or food to prevent damage
  • Always place cookware on an oven shelf or rack, never on the oven floor
  • When grilling, maintain a minimum 5 cm (2 inch) gap between the heat source and the cookware

Cleaning:

  • Allow cookware to cool for several minutes before cleaning
  • Avoid plunging into or filling with cold water when hot, as sudden temperature changes may cause damage
