  • THE NEW ZEALAND SAUSAGE CO is a collaboration between AWARD WINNING sausage maker, master butcher and passionate foodie Paul Greaney from The Chop Shop and The New Zealand Casings Co. Our goal is to make sausage making simple, enjoyable and delicious.

  • NO MYSTERY MEAT: We don’t put any nasty stuff in our sausage seasoning packs. They are free from ingredients containing MSG, nitrates, preservatives, soy, e numbers, gluten and dairy. However, please note our products are made in a factory that does use ingredients containing gluten and dairy.
  • FULL OF FLAVOUR, NOT FILLERS: The best sausages are full of meat, fat and flavour. Nothing else. ‘Fillers’ are only added to sausages to make meat go further so sausage manufacturers can make more profit. That’s why our Sausage Seasoning Packs are full of flavour, not fillers. SAUSAGE CASINGS: Fill your sausages into a natural hog casing for a fat, chunky sausage or a natural sheep casing for a slimmer sausage, e.g. chipolata or breakfast sausage.
