Grinding food with KitchenAid just got serious, this is the new Metal Food Grinder.
The durable metal design gives a better performance than standard plastic food grinders and provides faster grinding for even the most challenging ingredients. When preparing meat, a cold environment is important. The Metal Food Grinder can be pre-chilled in the refrigerator or freezer to maintain a cold grinding temperature. This results in a cleaner grind: meat is firm and better forms into sausages, patties, and meatballs than meat that is ground through a non-chilled grinder. Grinding your own meat at home also allows room for personal experimentation so you can add herbs, spices or vegetables until you find the perfect combination for your taste buds. This way you also know EXACTLY what is going into your meal.
The Grinder comes with three grinding plates that are constructed of stainless steel.
- Fine grinding plate is 3 mm
- Medium grinding plate is 4.5 mm
- Coarse grinding plate is 8 mm
The included sausage stuffer parts are made of plastic and are dishwasher-safe.
There are two tubes for two different sizes:
- The small tube is 9.5 mm
- The large tube is 19 mm
The cleaning brush has nylon bristles, stainless steel wire, and plastic handles and is dishwasher-safe.
Convenient storage: The storage case keeps all parts in one place, so you can easily store and quickly access the Metal Food Grinder.
Simply attach the Food Grinder to any KitchenAid Stand Mixer Attachment HUB and turn the mixer on. Mixer not included.

- The Grinder’s main body, grind screw, tray, and collar are constructed of aluminium and should be washed by hand.
- The grinding blade is constructed of stainless steel and should be washed by hand.
- The Grinder comes with three grinding plates that are constructed of stainless steel and should be washed by hand
