- Use soap or detergent to wash the ceramic grinding elements of the FinaPod
- Use the battery operated FinaMill if corrosion on the battery contacts is present.
What else can I grind with the FinaPod: The FinaPods included in the FinaMill are designed for everyday use, things such as salt, peppercorns, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, sesame seeds and some dried herbs.
Can it grind fresh herbs: No, only chopped or minced dried herbs.
How do I adjust the grinder? Remove the pod from the mill and twist the adjuster knob clockwise for a finer grind and counterclockwise for a more coarse grind.
How fine can it grind? It is a fairly small but not a powder like pre-ground spice. Please adjust to you desired coarseness.
Why doesn’t it work after the batteries are inserted? For the motor to engage and run, a FinaPod must be properly inserted.
