Use & Care:
- Top rack Dishwasher-safe.
How to use:
- Heat water to 85°C using your kettle. If you do not have a kettle, freshly boiled water is fine.
- Pull the plunger fully out of the chamber.
- Place a paper filter into the filter cap, then twist the filter cap securely onto the chamber.
- Stand the chamber on the Go Mug and add slightly less than a full scoop of medium ground coffee.
- Gently shake to level the coffee, then pour water up to the number 3 mark on the chamber. A small amount of coffee dripping into the mug is normal.
- Stir gently for 3 seconds. Insert the plunger about 1 cm into the chamber, then pull back slightly to create a vacuum and stop dripping. Leave to brew for 60 seconds.
- Press the plunger down slowly and evenly. Do not force it. Continue until you hear a soft hissing sound as the last of the coffee passes through the grounds.
- Remove the filter cap and set aside. Place the AeroPress over a sink or bin and continue pressing until the coffee puck is ejected with a light pop.
- Remove the paper filter from the cap and rinse. Rinse the silicone end of the plunger under fresh water, then store the AeroPress inside the Go Mug.
- Enjoy the smooth, rich, full-bodied flavour of your AeroPress 3-in-1 brew.
Revolutionary Coffee Brewing, Engineered to Perfection.
AeroPress was born from the curiosity and ingenuity of inventor and engineer Alan Adler, a lifelong innovator with more than 40 patents to his name. After decades designing everything from world-record-setting flying discs and racing yachts to aerospace instrumentation, Adler turned his attention to a challenge much closer to home: brewing a better cup of coffee.
Frustrated by the bitterness and inconsistency of traditional home coffee makers, Adler spent years researching the science of coffee extraction. In 2005, after developing more than 30 prototypes, he introduced the AeroPress coffee maker, a revolutionary brewing system that uses gentle air pressure to produce exceptionally smooth, rich coffee in as little as two minutes.
What began as a simple solution for brewing a single cup has evolved into a global coffee phenomenon. Today, AeroPress is trusted by home brewers, baristas, travellers, and coffee enthusiasts in more than 60 countries. Its unique brewing method delivers outstanding flavour with low bitterness, while its portability and ease of use have made it one of the most respected manual coffee makers in the world.
The AeroPress community continues to grow through the renowned World AeroPress Championship, a fan-driven global competition that attracts thousands of competitors each year. From its humble beginnings in a California garage to becoming an icon of specialty coffee culture, AeroPress remains dedicated to innovation, simplicity, and brewing better coffee every day.
