Chef’s Complements Packaging Standards

We pack your order like it’s going to our own kitchen.

We know how frustrating it is to open a parcel and find something damaged, especially fragile or heavy kitchenware. That’s why we take exceptional care when packing every order.

Our team carefully:

Assesses each item before packing
Uses protective materials suited to the product (not one-size-fits-all)
Double-packs fragile items like glassware, ceramics, and stoneware
Secures heavy cookware to prevent movement during transit

We take real pride in our packaging, and it shows. Our breakage rates are extremely low, and our customers can vouch for us too.

“Packaging was next level.”

“Just want to say how quick and the amazing care taken with packaging the item for safe delivery.”

“…the packaging was excellent to protect the items…”

“Fast dispatch, great care taken in packaging. 5/5”

“…very competitive pricing; and very good packaging and excellent communications…”

“Well packaged for safe travels”

Fragile & Heavy Items

Yes, we ship fragile and heavy items. Safely.

From glassware and ceramics to cast iron and premium cookware, we regularly ship delicate and weighty items all over New Zealand. Our packing process is designed specifically to handle these products, so they arrive exactly as they should.

If we wouldn’t be happy receiving it ourselves, it doesn’t leave our store.
