Before First Use:
- Remove all labels and packaging.
- Wash your Le Creuset product in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Cooking Tips:
- Always use oven gloves when handling hot cookware.
- Use silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic utensils for best results.
- Metal utensils can be used gently, avoiding scraping the cooking surface.
- Match the product size to the hob ring for even cooking and to protect handles and sides, especially on induction hobs.
- Cook on medium or low heat for the best results, allowing the cookware to heat gradually. If high heat is required, reduce the temperature once the desired heat is reached.
- For fat-free cooking, preheat on medium for 2 minutes before adding food.
- Avoid leaving the cookware unattended or overheating the dry non-stick surface.
- Avoid using the induction ‘boost’ function except for rapid heating of large volumes of water.
- Add salt to hot cooking liquids or food, not directly onto the surface.
- Place cookware on a shelf or rack in the oven, never directly on the oven floor.
- When using under the grill, leave at least a 5 cm (2 inch) gap between the heat source and the top of the cookware.
Cleaning:
- Allow cookware to cool before cleaning.
- Remove leftovers with a soft cloth or sponge.
- For stuck-on food, soak in warm, soapy water for 15–20 minutes before washing.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh scouring pads, or metal brushes.
- Dry thoroughly after washing and store in a dry place.
Dishwasher Safe:
- All items are safe for the dishwasher.
- Handwashing is recommended to prolong the life of your cookware.
