The hallmark of an exceptional knife is a perfect cutting edge. Mundial starts with a unique cutlery steel called X45 CR Mo 14. This superior metal is easier to shape and sharpen and holds its edge far longer than ordinary steels. The blade of each Mundial knife is expertly ground, honed and tested. The angle must be exact, uniform from bolster to tip and the curve flawlessly tapered. Scrupulous inspections at each vital stage of the production process ensure that this is so.
Whether it be filleting, carving, chopping or peeling, one can rest assured that the surgically precise edge is designed to last.
