Ravioli are a traditional type of Italian filled pasta. It is composed of a filling sealed between two layers of thin egg pasta dough. Use this stamp to create fresh-pressed ravioli and fill with your favourite fillings. The stamp cuts and seals in one action leaving ravioli with a classic fluted edge, giving your pasta an authentic Italian look.  The large wood handle is easy to hold giving you complete control when using this classic tool.

  • Round cutter 6.5cm diameter
  • Square cutter 7cm diameter

 

Instructions:

1. Use a lightly floured surface to prevent the dough from sticking.

2. Moisten the area around the filling with a pastry brush dipped in water to help seal the two pasta layers.

3. After cutting, dust off excess flour with a dry brush.

4. Place the Ravioli on a tray dusted with semolina and chill until ready to cook or freeze immediately for later use.

5. Cook the ravioli in boiling, salted water, for 3 to 4 minutes.
