This Bamboo Oval Utility Board by Peer Sorensen is very durable, lightweight and versatile as it is functional on both sides.
The sturdiness of these Tri-Ply Bamboo Boards makes for easy prep of all sorts of food while offering a contemporary twist to modern kitchens. The board is ideal for the busy family who is after a reliable, easy-to-use and easy-to-clean food prep surface. This board require low maintenance.
The lightweight and light colour of this bamboo oval board make it a perfect presentation platter for use at the table, for plating cheeses, fruit and so much more!
Features:
- Size: 35 x 21cm
- Constructed with organically grown bamboo wood
- Designed to be used on both sides
- Hanging eyelet to add another storage option for your board
- Plastic & BPA free
Cleaning
- After each use, simply rinse with a wet sponge using hot water and a little mild dishwashing liquid, then towel dry.
- Do not use a steel brush or steel wool on the surface of the board.
- Never soak your board in the water.
Maintenance
- Periodically (once every several weeks if used heavily or depending upon household conditions), apply an even coat of mineral/ vegetable oil to the surface of the board.
- Sponge on with a rag and let dry.
- The oiling applies a moisture barrier – DO NOT allow moisture of any type to stand on the board for long periods of time.
- Do not let fresh, wet meats, lay on the block longer than necessary.
- ALWAYS thoroughly clean your board after serving raw meats.
NOTE: Although these boards are identified as “dishwasher safe”, to extend the lifetime of your boards, we recommend handwashing them whenever possible.
