To connect, align your cookware and position it on top of the trivet. To remove, while the trivet is on the countertop, begin sliding the pan/pot partially off with one hand while holding the trivet down with the other hand. Then lift one side of the pan. This will release the magnetic hold. Use to hand to securely lift and carry the pan. (see the video in product tabs)
