Mulled wine is a winter favourite, but not everyone needs or wants a hot cup of spiced wine, no matter what time of the year it is. This frozen version has all the delicious warmth from the spices, but in a pleasantly frozen twist.
Method:
- Mix everything in a bowl until combined. Taste and adjust as desired.
- Pour into the GreenPan Frost Ice Cream & Slushie Maker mixing bowl and cover with the mixing bowl cover.
- Select the Spiked Slushie mode, L4. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.
- Serve in chilled glasses and garnish with appropriate fruit or citrus wheels.
Tips
- You can replace the honey with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, if desired.
- You can use a sweeter red wine if you like, just start with half the amount of honey and add more as needed.
