  • 3/4 cup coffee liqueur
  • 3/4 cup crème de menthe
  • 1 1/2 cups strong coffee or espresso, cold
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate syrup, for garnish (optional)
  • Mini candy canes, for garnish (optional)

Let’s give the espresso martini a holiday twist by pairing it with the coolness of peppermint and the richness of chocolate. This is basically an adult version of a peppermint milkshake with a kick.

 

Method:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk all of the ingredients until combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into the GreenPan Frost Ice Cream & Slushie Maker mixing bowl, then cover it with the mixing bowl cover.
  3. Select the Spiked Slushie mode, L4. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.
  4. Drizzle chocolate syrup into chilled glasses.
  5. Extrude into glasses and top with more chocolate syrup and a mini candy cane, if using.

 

Tips

If you happen to love peppermint, you can add up to 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract.
