Bohemia was established in 2008 to preserve and further develop the tradition of lead crystal production in Poděbrady, Czech Republic.
This tradition dates back to the beginning of the 18th century and has influenced the global glass industry over time. Bohemia proudly states that its crystal glass is among the best to have emerged in the sector. The glassworks in Poděbrady is the major manufacturer of lead crystal in the Czech Republic.
Cup Amoroso is a classic and beautiful example of a red wine glass. Due to its volume, it is also suitable for some white wines. The cup is shaped like a tulip (closes upwards) to retain the wine’s aroma. It has terrific, clean lines and thin, smooth walls that divinely ring during a toast. The glass provides the ideal environment for developing aroma and flavour. Cups without stems are both modern and practical.
