Operation:
Press the on/off function to switch the thermometer on and off. Press the °C / °F button to select the temperature unit.
Measurement:
- Pull off the probe cover
- Insert the probe into test substance about 25mm and get the reading when it is steady
- The probe cover can be plugged onto the battery cover as an extension handle
Data Hold Function:
- Press the HOLD button to retain display reading
- Press the button again to return to the normal display
Battery Replacement:
- Use a suitable Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the battery cover screws
- Open the battery cover and pull out the battery holder
- Replace the battery
- Close the battery cover and tighten the screws
NOTE:
- Clean the probe with cleaning wipes after each measurement to avoid cross-contamination
- Do not expose the thermometer to temperatures over 50°C. e.g. Don’t use in an oven
- Make sure to tighten the screws after replacing the battery, otherwise, it may affect the water-resistant function.
