From slow cooking to stunning serving.

STAUB Cast Iron Cocottes are made for everything from slow-cooked stews and braises to roast meats, risotto and freshly baked bread. Designed to move from stovetop to oven to table, the cocotte combines excellent heat retention with even heat distribution for gentle, controlled cooking.

The heavy cast iron construction holds heat exceptionally well, while the black matte enamel interior requires little fat for frying and helps develop rich, full flavour. The tough, chip-resistant enamel coating makes it suitable for everyday cooking, while the distinctive La Mer finish adds a sophisticated touch when serving at the table.

The lid features STAUB’s signature self-basting system, with specially designed nodules that collect condensation and return it evenly over the food as it cooks. This continuous circulation helps retain moisture and creates tender, flavourful results.

Made in France using traditional sand moulding techniques, each STAUB cocotte is individually crafted. The smooth base is suitable for all cooking surfaces, including induction, while its timeless design makes it equally suited to everyday meals and special occasions.
