Care:
Before First Use:
- Remove all labels and packaging before use
- Wash in warm soapy water
- Rinse and dry thoroughly
- For first-time frying, lightly coat the base with vegetable or corn oil
- Heat gently and rotate to coat the inner side walls
- Remove from heat, allow to cool, then wipe clean with paper towels
Cooking:
- Always use oven gloves when handling hot cookware
- Use silicone, wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils where possible
- Metal utensils can be used with care, but should not scrape the non-stick surface
- Do not knock metal utensils against the rim of non-stick cookware
- Do not use electric or battery-operated beaters, blenders, knives or sharp tools inside the pan
- Use the cookware on a hob ring that closely matches the base size
- This helps food cook evenly and protects handles and sides from excess heat
- Medium to low heat gives the best results for most cooking
- Allow the cookware to heat gradually for even cooking
- Reduce the heat once the desired temperature is reached
- For fat-free cooking, preheat the oven on medium heat for around 2 minutes before adding food
- Do not leave the cookware unattended or allow a dry non-stick surface to overheat
- When using induction, avoid the boost function unless heating large volumes of water
- Do not add salt directly onto stainless steel surfaces
- Add salt to hot cooking liquid or food instead
- When using in the oven, place the cookware on a shelf or rack
- Do not place cookware on the oven floor
- When using under a grill, allow at least a 5 cm gap between the heat source and the top of the cookware
Cleaning:
- Allow the cookware to cool for a few minutes before cleaning
- Do not plunge hot cookware into cold water
- Wipe away leftover food from the base and sides
- If food is stuck, fill with warm soapy water and soak for 15 to 20 minutes
- Wash as normal after soaking
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scourers
- Avoid harsh or very stiff cleaning pads or brushes
- Dry thoroughly after washing
- Store in a dry place
