AeroPress was born from the curiosity and ingenuity of inventor and engineer Alan Adler, a lifelong innovator with more than 40 patents to his name. After decades designing everything from world-record-setting flying discs and racing yachts to aerospace instrumentation, Adler turned his attention to a challenge much closer to home: brewing a better cup of coffee.
Frustrated by the bitterness and inconsistency of traditional home coffee makers, Adler spent years researching the science of coffee extraction. In 2005, after developing more than 30 prototypes, he introduced the AeroPress coffee maker, a revolutionary brewing system that uses gentle air pressure to produce exceptionally smooth, rich coffee in as little as two minutes.
What began as a simple solution for brewing a single cup has evolved into a global coffee phenomenon.
