Our tip: The best way to seal the jar and have the lid not pop off is to start by pressing one small portion of the edge of the wood lid, including the silicone gasket, down into the jar, and then pushing the rest of the lid and gasket down in a circular motion, either clockwise or counterclockwise. It is also important to make sure there is no fine flour or other similar dusty ingredient, on the silicone gasket as that can also affect the seal.
