Precision Lifting with Timeless Craftsmanship.
The Netherton Foundry Copper Spatula is handcrafted in Shropshire, England, for lifting, turning and serving delicate foods with confidence. Combining a thin, flexible copper blade with a durable black iron handle, it is ideal for fish, eggs, pancakes, steaks and other foods that require precision handling.
The wide, perforated copper blade effortlessly slides beneath food to lift and turn it while allowing excess oils and cooking juices to drain away. Its ground leading edge helps glide under delicate ingredients without breaking or damaging them, while the pre-seasoned black iron handle provides a comfortable, secure grip.
Free from plastics, PTFE and chemical coatings, this beautifully crafted utensil is hand assembled with solid copper rivets and finished with a signature Netherton Foundry brass rivet. Designed for use with iron cookware, it offers lasting durability and traditional British craftsmanship for everyday cooking.

Use & Care:
- Wash by hand with warm water and a soft brush or cloth
- Avoid detergents where possible to preserve the seasoning
- Dry thoroughly after washing to prevent moisture damage
- Lightly oil after drying to maintain the protective surface
- Do not leave to soak or air dry
- Re-season as needed using a thin coat of flax or cooking oil
- With regular use, the natural non-stick surface will continue to improve over time
Jute Handle Care:
- Keep the jute handle away from direct flames. The long handle is designed to keep your hands clear of the heat, but the tool should not be left resting in the fire or over burning coals.
- If the metal begins to glow red hot, excessive heat may affect the temper of the iron and can scorch or burn the jute wrapping.
- The organic jute cord is durable and remains strong when wet, but it should be allowed to dry thoroughly before storing the utensil.
- Store the utensil in a dry place using the hanging loop where possible.
