Proper care ensures Pro SB+ cookware continues to perform at its best and lasts well beyond the 10-year warranty period.
Before first use:
- Refer to the cleaning video available on this website and the details provided in the Non-Stick User Guide
- Wash cookware in hot soapy water using a nylon brush or nylon scourer
- Do not use harsh or metal scourers, as these may damage the nonstick surface
Routine cleaning:
- After cooking, remove contents and fill the pan with hot soapy water
- Use a soft nylon scourer to scrub thoroughly, ensuring all food fats and residues are removed
- Never use abrasive cloths, harsh scourers, or aggressive cleaning liquids or pastes
- Dry cookware thoroughly after cleaning and store appropriately
- While dishwasher safe, SCANPAN recommends hand washing to extend the life of the nonstick coating
Heat recommendations:
- Excessively high heat is not required when cooking with Pro SB+ cookware
- Moderate heat delivers optimal cooking results and helps preserve the nonstick surface
