Warm colour. Classic French cooking. One kitchen essential.
The STAUB Cast Iron Cocotte combines traditional French craftsmanship with versatile everyday cooking. Finished in a warm Cinnamon shade, this timeless round cocotte moves effortlessly from stovetop to oven to table, making it just as suited to slow-cooked family meals as it is to beautifully presented dishes.
Cast iron retains heat exceptionally well and distributes it evenly, making the cocotte ideal for braising, stewing, roasting, searing and baking. From tender meats and hearty casseroles to creamy risotto and freshly baked bread, it provides the controlled, even heat needed for reliable results.
The lid features STAUB’s signature self-basting system, with specially designed nodules that collect condensation and return it evenly over the food as it cooks. The black matte enamel interior requires very little fat for frying and helps intensify the flavour of your dishes, while the tough enamel coating provides lasting protection inside and out.
Made in France using traditional sand moulding techniques, each cocotte is individually crafted, with the mould destroyed after each piece is made. Built to last and beautiful enough to serve straight from the oven, it is a piece that will earn a permanent place in the kitchen.
